MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are searching for a missing man who is believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

They say 73-year-old Jerry Charles is 6 ft tall, weighs 200 pounds, has brown eyes, gray hair, a beard and mustache.

He was last seen wearing a maroon sweatshirt and black pants.

Police say he was last seen walking on the bike path near Allied Dr. in Madison, heading towards Fitchburg.
