Cardinals 'made' field goal looked like it may have missed upright vs. Cowboys
The first points of Monday Night Football didn't even quite look like points at all.
The Arizona Cardinals had kicker Chad Ryland lined up for a field goal.
He was 48 yards out, and his kick began to fade toward the right upright.
It was higher than the upright, creating an immediate problem.
It appeared, visually, like it may have ended up wide.
But after the officials looked at one another, they ruled that it had gone through.
That gave the Cardinals a 3-0 lead on the Dallas Cowboys .
