Two former Louisville-based magnetics company officials charged with sending confidential information about military equipment to China have been sentenced by a federal judge.

Phil Pascoe, the former president of Quadrant Magnetics' local office, will spend 19 months in a prison close to his home in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, according to court documents filed in late October. Scott Tubbs, a former vice president with Quadrant, was also sentenced to three years probation.

Pascoe and Tubbs both pleaded guilty in 2024 to conspiracy to commit fraud, with a possibility of up to five years in prison. A separate case against the company ended in a mistrial in March .
