NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed in North Kingstown Monday night.
North Kingstown Police Chief John Urban told 12 News officers were called to McConnell Court for a domestic stabbing involving two men.
Urban said one of the men stabbed the other in the back, though it's unclear how many times.
The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, according to Urban.
The suspect, who lives with the victim, has been taken into custody.
It's unclear what led up to the stabbing at this time.
