LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Many in Las Vegas will get the rare opportunity to get an up-close look at what is known as the "People's Tree" before it heads to Washington, D.C., for the holiday season.
The public can see the official U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree at Las Vegas Civic Center and Carolyn G. Goodman Plaza on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
This year’s tree, named “Silver Belle,” is a majestic 53-foot-tall Red Fir harvested from the Carson Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. It marks a historic first for Nevada.
