The North Bay Police Service will be conducting a real-time joint emergency response training exercise in North Bay Wednesday in the vicinity of Ski Club Road between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Emergencies require well-coordinated and efficient responses, and event simulations are an effective way to practice essential skills and communication procedures.
The police service advises the public that a variety of emergency services will be participating, including North Bay Fire & Emergency Services, the Ontario Provincial Police – North East Region, 22 Wing CFB North Bay, and the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Members of the public should not be alarmed by an increased presence of emergency personnel and vehicles in the area.
The training exercise is not expected to result in any road closures
