Dharamshala, Nov 4 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that the Winter Session of the State Legislative Assembly, traditionally held at Tapovan in Dharamshala, is likely to be convened in the last week of November this year, instead of in December.
“The change is being considered to ensure that the session does not coincide with the peak tourist season in December, which could inconvenience visitors and local businesses,” he said yesterday.
Pathania was addressing participants as the chief guest on the second day of the four-day Federation Cup Classic and Equipped Powerlifting Championship 2025 at Rait. Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania was also present on the occasion.
