(KRON) -- The longtime location of one legendary San Francisco donut shop is closing after 70 years. Bob's Donuts is closing its shop at 1621 Polk St. later this month, the business announced on social media.

The last day of business will be on Nov. 23. Bob's Donuts will now shift its operations to its newer location at 1720 Polk St., which opened in February.

"It's never easy to say goodbye," Bob's Donuts wrote in a social media post on Sunday.
