Bhubaneswar : A cold wave has begun to sweep across Odisha, with temperatures expected to drop further in the next few days due to clear skies and no forecast of rain.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in most districts has ranged between 19°C and 22°C.
Koraput recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 16°C, followed by Daringbadi at 18°C, Phulbani at 18.5°C, Jharsuguda, Bhadrak, and Angul at 19°C, Keonjhar at 20°C, and Paralakhemundi, Kendrapara, Jajpur, and Rourkela at 21°C. With clear skies and no rain in sight, the mercury is likely to dip further in the coming days, signaling a cold winter ahead.
