A proposal to allow developers in Fresno to build housing on property zoned for offices is coming back to the City Council for consideration this week.
The Fresno City Council will discuss the ordinance during its meeting scheduled for Thursday after previously discussing it earlier this year.
The backstory: The initial version of the proposal would have allowed developers to have their projects approved by the city ministerially.
