GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Businesses in Lake City will be able to start selling alcohol even when minors are present after city council members approved the change on second reading in a four-to-one vote.
Ricky Jernigan voted in dissent.
During public comment, one resident praised city leaders for removing the restriction.
Officials approved the first reading of the ordinance last month.
