Jonathan Bailey is making history as the first openly gay man to be chosen as People’s Sexiest Man Alive !

The 37-year-old actor was named as the title-holder on Monday night (November 3) during a segment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon .

Jonathan was live in the studio to reveal the news, popping up in front of a giant photo of the cover.

” It’s a huge honor. Obviously I’m incredibly flattered. And it’s completely absurd. [Laughs] It’s been a secret, so I’m quite excited for some friends and family to find out,” Jonathan told the magazine .
