Jammu: The Apex Council of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today appointed Vidya Bhaskar as a member of the Sub-Committee of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).
As per the official communique, he succeeded Mithun Manhas, who was recently elected as the President of the BCCI during its 94th Annual General Meeting held on September 28, 2025.
Bhaskar, a distinguished former First-Class cricketer, represented Jammu and Kashmir in the Ranji Trophy as a top-order batter and part-time off-spinner.
Over the course of 48 First-Class matches, he amassed 2,178 runs, which included three centuries and twelve half-centuries.
