POLICE are hunting who they believe could be three young people who targeted at least five businesses in the main street of town in a matter of hours.
The Leader has been told The Bolt Inn, Michael's Cafe, The Sweet Place, and 53 on Bridge Cafe - all in Bridge Street in Uralla, or the New England Highway that runs straight through the centre of town - were targeted overnight on Sunday.
Businesses woke to the damage or arrived on Monday to find doors forced in, windows smashed and cash, alcohol and other goods stolen during the brazen break-ins
Locals have told the Leader the businesses were hit between 10.30pm on Sunday, November 4, and 2.30am on Monday.
