The Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks men’s volleyball team feel they are ahead of schedule to open the season in terms of progression and the results have shown in the win column.

“Anytime you lose the number of starters that we lost in the offseason, it’s always going to be a bit of transition and a bit of the unknown,” said Greg Gibos, Kodiak men’s volleyball head coach.

“I thought there would be some more substantial growing pains … from the group. But credit to some of the older guys for being great leaders and credit to the young crew who’s here for putting in the work, it doesn’t go unnoticed.”

Gibos credits his assistant coach Jordan Teliske for the work he has done with the players in terms of their skill development and fitness.
