Daytime Construction, 24-Hour Parking Bans to Impact Santa Monica Boulevard as Crews Upgrade Curbs, Gutters, and Sidewalks.

Caltrans will implement lane closures and around-the-clock parking restrictions along State Route 2 in West Los Angeles and Echo Park from Monday, November 3, through Sunday, November 9 , as part of an ongoing multimodal improvement project designed to upgrade curbs, gutters, and sidewalks.

Construction work will take place daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. , with limited overnight closures and 24-hour parking restrictions in effect throughout the week. Drivers should plan for potential delays and consider alternate routes where possible.
