Spokane Police Chief Kevin Hall released a statement on the two former officers accused of sexual misconduct with domestic violence victims. An internal investigation found that both officers, who resigned, did engage in inappropriate relationships with victims.

"Their actions violated departmental policy, betrayed community trust, and failed to uphold the oath they had sworn," Hall said. "This conduct is unacceptable and does not reflect the values or professionalism of the Spokane Police Department. As Chief, I want to assure our community that these individuals no longer serve as police officers and have surrendered their law enforcement certifications."
