SPOKANE, Wash. — The case against a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and dumping her body sees another delay in court.
Monday was supposed to be the day of the latest court hearing in the murder of Moses Lake mom Yanira Cedillos. Instead, it's now been pushed back two months to January, frustrating a family wanting justice.
More than three years after Cedillos' death, time has not been a friend for her sister Lanny Abundiz.
"A lot of people say, you know, time heals all wounds. That's not the case," said Abundiz. "I always like to say whoever wrote that quote most likely has never lost somebody, right? Because I just feel like it's gotten worse."
