Four independent university experts will be asked to review the Australian National University's finances, communication and reputation in an effort to change course after a year of turmoil at the institution.
Interim vice-chancellor Rebekah Brown has commissioned seven reviews of different university areas; four of the reviews will be completed by the end of the year, and four of the reviews will be completed by someone outside of the university.
The financial review will be completed independently and was promised by Professor Brown when she first stepped into the interim role.
She said it was important for the university to increase student numbers to secure future revenue.
