Toronto-born rapper Drake was front and center throughout this World Series. He was proudly repping the Blue Jays as they faced off against the Dodgers, the team backed by his biggest rival, LA’s Kendrick Lamar. Drake, as he put it, was “World Series bound” and might’ve gotten ahead of himself. He trolled Shohei Ohtani on Instagram and celebrated the Dodgers’ loss before the final game had even played out. When it was all over and his beloved Blue Jays had taken the loss, he finally broke his silence.

“Congrats to the Jays for a dream season and a legendary World Series fight!!!” He wrote on Instagram. Supporting his Blue Jays’ squad, Drake attended both Game 6 and Game 7.

For the record, the entire trolling war was started by Drake, but perhaps Nike had the last laugh.
