Melbourne Cup 2025: Half Yours claims famous victory by two lengths.

The 165th running of the Melbourne Cup has been run and won, with Half Yours storming home to claim Australia’s most iconic race at Flemington.

On a day of drama and delight, jockey Jamie Melham delivered a masterful ride to secure the $4.5 million prize for trainers Tony & Calvin McEvoy, etching their names into racing history.

It was a neck-and-neck finish, with Goody Two Shoes finishing second, while Middle Earth crossed in third.
