Punjab BJP spokesperson Kamaljit Soi has demanded a written apology from Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, MP (Ludhiana) and President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC), for allegedly making caste and colour-based remarks against the late Sardar Buta Singh, former Union Home Minister of India.
Soi has also called for the registration of a criminal case and the cancellation of Warring’s parliamentary membership, citing “conduct unbecoming of a Member of Parliament.”
In a complaint addressed to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC), the Chief Election Commissioner of India, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, and the Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes (SCSC), Soi has sought immediate legal and disciplinary action against Warring.
