Major supermarkets have released urgent product recalls on five popular sweet treats this week due to the Food Standards Agency highlighting " health risks " in certain products. ‌

Budget supermarket rivals Lidl and Aldi, as well as Home Bargains, are urging customers to return the items to their local stores for a refund if they have recently purchased one of these treats to snack on in their free time. ‌

Many popular snacks have been pulled off the shelves this week as the Food Standard Agency (FSA) have found possible contamination or undeclared allergens on specific dated products. ‌

One item was even raised as a health risk as the important allergen information was not listed in English, reports the Express.
