Need a new sports championship to quell your World Series withdrawal?

McMaster University in Hamilton will host top university teams for the 2025 U Sports Women’s Soccer Championship this week.

The games, which will be broadcast by CBC Sports , start Thursday and go to Sunday, with the championship game being played 5 p.m. that day.

According to the McMaster Marauders website, eight teams will compete for the Gladys Bean Memorial Trophy. They are seeded as follows:

University of British Columbia (UBC)

University of Montréal

University of Toronto

Cape Breton University

Laval University

Trinity Western University

McMaster University

University of Guelph
