Amy Marcelo’s hat trick powered sixth-seeded Paramus Catholic to a 5-2 victory over 11th-seeded Holy Angels in the first round of the North Jersey, Non-Public A tournament in Paramus.

Isabella Estrada had three assists and Erica Vazquez added a goal and an assist for Paramus Catholic (12-7), which erupted for four goals in the second half.

Emmy Garcia scored a goal and Giavanna Chagas made five saves in the win.

Paramus Catholic will play third-seeded Pingry, No. 6 in the NJ.com Top 20, in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

Lilyanna Potts scored a goal for Holy Angels (3-13-1) and Serena Gugliotta made eight saves.
