Tuesday, Nov. 4, is Municipal Election Day for 55 cities and towns across Massachusetts.

Several communities, including Boston , will vote for their next mayor and city councilors.

In Boston, incumbent Mayor Michelle Wu is running unopposed after challenger Josh Kraft dropped out of the mayoral race. Many are closely watching the races for Boston City Council at-large and District 7 ( former Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson's spot ).

Other municipal races are set to take place in Bay State cities and towns such as Cambridge , Somerville , Newton , Peabody , and West Springfield .
