John Lewis has unveiled its yearly Christmas ad featuring a father and son who connect through a classic 90s dance tune - and it's left fans "sobbing". ‌

The retail giant unveiled its "emotional" seasonal commercial on Tuesday, November 4, encouraging customers: "If you can't find the words, find the gift." ‌

The story begins on Christmas morning with a dad clearing away torn wrapping paper when he discovers an unopened present intended for him. ‌

The package contains a vinyl copy of the 1990s dance anthem Where Love Lives by Alison Limerick.
