India’s new World Cup-winning captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, has shared how her father’s cricket bat sparked her dream of playing cricket as a child.
Following India’s 52-run victory over South Africa in the women’s World Cup final in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, Harmanpreet reflected on her childhood and offered advice to aspiring young players in a video posted by the BCCI: “Never stop dreaming. You never know where your destiny will take you."
