CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) -- Voters across the Lowcountry will head to the polls on November 4 to cast their ballots in dozens of municipal elections, deciding who will lead their cities and towns as mayor, on council, and in other offices.
“This Tuesday, hundreds of municipal elections are taking place across South Carolina – offering citizens an opportunity to choose the leaders closest to them and their communities,” State Election Commission Interim Director Jenny Wooten said. “We encourage every eligible voter to make a plan, know your polling location, review your sample ballot, and cast your vote. Every vote matters, every vote counts, and every vote in a municipal election helps shape the communities in which we live.”
