Ron Dailey, 55, went hunting on Oct. 13 and failed to return home

His family reported that he was missing, and for 20 days, search and rescue teams were looking for him

Then, on Saturday, Nov. 1, a group of hikers spotted him and he was transported to the local hospital

A 55-year-old hunter was missing for nearly three weeks before he was found alive in the Sierra National Forest on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Ron Dailey went to the Sierra National Forest to go hunting for the day on Oct. 13, according to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office (FCSO). But once he failed to return home, his family contacted FCSO.

He went to the Swamp Lake Trail, but after he took a wrong turn, he got lost and found himself in an unfamiliar area. Eventually, his truck broke down, he recalled for ABC
