The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) have confirmed there are “no plans” to meet with representatives from the Women against State Pension Inequality (WASPI) campaign, or any other campaign groups. ‌

West Dunbartonshire Labour MP Douglas McAllister and Democratic Unionist Party MP Gregory Campbell, both submitted similar written questions to the DWP on the topic. However, in a written response on Monday, Pensions Minister Torsten Bell said: “There are no plans to meet with any campaign groups.” ‌
