Drew Barrymore is giving a glimpse into her health.

The talk show host shared that she had recently had a breast cancer “scare” after getting her annual mammogram, revealing what it was like to have to go through additional tests.

“This was the thing I wanted to risk talking about on this show because I recently had a scare,” Barrymore explained on the Nov. 3 episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.” “I’m completely fine, but I did get a bad mammogram and I got taken into that room.”

She added, “Then I had an emergency biopsy and I waited those five days.”

Her guest Tig Notaro, who is a breast cancer survivor, noted, “It’s a long wait.”
