Forty-five days of early voting closed Saturday and now the remaining registered voters who have not cast a ballot may head to the polls today to help choose the officeholders who will represent them.

Early voting in the November election started Sept. 19 in Virginia and continues until Nov. 1, the Saturday before the Nov. 4 Election Day. The deadline to register to vote or update your voter registration information is Oct. 24.
