A Lynn man was found guilty of first-degree murder after his girlfriend went missing and was later found dead in a marshy area in 2021.

Sherell Pringle, 40, of Woburn, died in December 2021 after family and friends reported her missing because they had not heard from her.

“My mother was a strong, independent woman, a dream chaser. I love my moms to death, now she’s gone,” said Pringle’s son, 19-year-old Jahmani Larionne in an interview with NECN .

She was remembered as a true leader and amazing mother in her obituary .

“She enjoyed spending time with her son Jahmani, family, and dog. She loved traveling, shopping and loved taking pictures. She enjoyed life. Our queen was a natural-born leader. She was very ambitious,” the obituary read.
