New Delhi: A Korba passenger train and a freight train collided in Bilaspur on Tuesday, November 6. As of now, four people have reportedly died and several people are injured, according to the reports.

Rescue operations are underway, and the railway officials and staff members have arrived at the scene. However, the cause of this mishap is still not clear.

According to eyewitnesses, the collision was very severe, leading to panic among locals. Railway officials and emergency response teams from the South East Central Railway (SECR) have arrived at the location, where rescue operations are underway.

The rescue team is trying to evacuate trapped passengers and supply first aid to them. The injured people are being transported to nearby hospitals.
