GENESEE COUNTY, MI -- Polls have now opened in several Genesee County communities.
The Tuesday, Nov. 4 election will determine a number of items on the ballot including the makeup of the Burton and Grand Blanc City councils as well as school and public safety proposals.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Here’s a look at what’s on ballots across the county.
Burton City Council
Six candidates are in the running for three seats on Burton City Council.
Former council members Ellen Ellenburg and Tina Conley were the top two vote getters during the August primary, followed by Kris Johns in third place.
Other candidates on the November ballot include incumbent council member Christina Fitchett-Hickson, incumbent council member, current council Vice President Greg Hull, and newcomer Don
