A man has been charged with a string off offences after a burglary in Coventry . Ian Giles was taken into custody by investigating officers yesterday after an incident in Canley last month.
Giles, aged 50, is due to appear in court on Tuesday to face burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and blackmail charges
A spokesman for Coventry Police said: "A man from Coventry has been charged with a number of offences following a burglary in the city.
"Ian Giles, of no fixed address, was charged with burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and blackmail and is due in court today (4 November).
"The 50-year-old was arrested yesterday by officers investigating the burglary, which happened in Canley in October."
