Every team in the NHL has a forward line that is expected to carry them offensively. For the Utah Mammoth, one trio in particular has exceeded expectations and are quickly becoming the team’s best line. Logan Cooley, Dylan Guenther, and JJ Peterka have been together for 12 games. Thus far on the campaign, they have shown no signs of slowing down. The strong play of this line was even enough for Mammoth general manager Bill Armstrong to recently extend Cooley for eight more years, which was a top priority. One question mark heading into the season was, how long it would take Peterka to mesh with his new linemates. So far, it’s been a fairly smooth transition. The three young forwards have carried the load for the Mammoth.
