Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam’s Haq is eyeing a November 7 release, and while the movie has been cleared by the CBFC, it has now landed in trouble. The movie, revolving around the landmark Shah Bano case , is embroiled in controversy after Shah Bano’s daughter, Siddiqua Begum Khan, filed a petition in the Indore bench of the High Court, claiming the film was made without her family’s permission and misrepresents her late mother’s life.
Now, while speaking to HT, Yami and Emraan spoke about whether they felt jittery while signing the movie because of the controversial nature of the script.
