Middletown officials celebrated the completion of a new veterans housing facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday.
The 22,000-square-foot development, designed by DMR Architects, provides 12 residential units for eligible veterans in Campbell’s Junction section of the township.
The Middletown Veterans Housing development addresses a critical need for affordable housing in an area with one of New Jersey’s largest veteran populations, officials said.
“Our veterans have given their all to grant us the freedoms we have today,” Mayor Tony Perry in a statement. “This affordable housing complex is just a small token of our everlasting appreciation for their bravery and sacrifices.”
