I wanted to take a minute to touch on a few things in relation to our free breakfast and lunch program.

First and foremost, every child in the district is entitled to one free breakfast and lunch daily.

As most everyone is aware, with the current condition of the Federal Government, I encourage you to take full advantage of this as the SNAP program is in jeopardy. This isn’t a political statement in any form or fashion; I just wanted to remind you of this.

I do need your help in one area: to continue this program, it is very important that everyone gets their paperwork filled out with the free breakfast and lunch program.
