Three University of Alabama Police Department officers are listed as the victims in the reckless endangerment charges against defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., according to newly released court documents.
The 19-year-old UA sophomore was arrested over the weekend on three counts of reckless endangerment, attempting to elude, reckless driving and failure/refusal to comply with first-responders’ orders.
He also received traffic citations for not wearing a seat belt, tinted windows and reasonable and prudent speed.
“Unfortunately, with the information I have at this time, talked to Dre, and we need to indefinitely suspend him,” Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer said Monday. “He understands there are consequences that come with his actions.”
