The trio of Yorgos Lanthimos , Emma Stone , and Jesse Plemons has teamed up yet again for a mind-bending visual experience, as the science fiction satire Bugonia made its nationwide debut in theaters last weekend. A remake of Jang Joon-hwan 's 2003 South Korean comedy Save the Green Planet! , the film boasts a stellar lead performance from Stone that many are calling her best since winning the Best Actress prize under Lanthimos' guidance for 2023's Poor Things . The film may have received positive praise from many critics and audiences, including an 86% rating from the former and 83% from the latter on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, but has it been a box office hit?
