The Magee Police Department says two people have been charged in connection with two separate shootings over the weekend.
For the Friday incident, officers charged Zaccary Hall with shooting into a vehicle, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into a dwelling, and a local warrant. Investigators said additional arrests are expected in this case.
For the Saturday incident, officers charged Kenta Anthron McDonald with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm within city limits, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a stolen firearm. Police said McDonald’s injuries occurred during a physical altercation with the victim before officers arrived.
Chief Denis J. Borges said both investigations remain active. All suspects are presumed
