Charles Bronson's 'kind' gesture to crying inmate in Bristol prison View 2 Images

A former prisoner who spent most of his adult life behind bars said that Charles Bronson, dubbed the UK's most violent inmate, once made a touching gesture to an inmate in a Bristol prison.

Noel 'Razor' Smith, after committing over 200 robberies, spent 30 years in different prisons. During his time in jail, he became friends with Bronson, now known as Charles Salvador, who has been in prison for nearly 50 years.

Bronson was first incarcerated 1974 for armed robbery and has gained a reputation as the UK's most violent prisoner after a number of high profile incidents whilst behind bars.
