SHREVEPORT — Students and alumni can benefit from the personal, face-to-face connections offered by a career fair regardless of economic conditions.

However, when the job market becomes more competitive, active participation in career fairs is a must, according to Jennie Flynn-McKevitt, director of Career Services at LSUS.

LSUS students and alumni will get that chance Nov. 12 at the annual LSUS Career and Internship Fair. More than 40 employers representing industries such as health care, education, legal, law enforcement, local and state agencies, and financial services will be in attendance. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom on the LSUS campus.
