GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The City of Green Bay’s Redevelopment Authority on Tuesday voted to move forward with the United Soccer League (USL) proposal, marking a significant step in bringing men’s and women’s professional soccer to Green Bay.

With the committee’s endorsement, the agreement will proceed to the Green Bay Common Council for final approval on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 6:00 p.m.

The City has engaged in exclusive negotiations with USL to thoroughly evaluate the feasibility of establishing professional soccer teams and building a stadium in Green Bay.
