Carnival Cruise Line has had a busy year— facing backlash over changes to its beloved VIFP loyalty program and renewed attention to one of its most infamous incidents. The so-called "poop cruise," which left over 4,000 passengers and crew stranded at sea after an engine-room fire knocked out power aboard the Carnival Triumph in February 2013, is once again making headlines thanks to the new Netflix documentary Trainwreck .
