NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Council will discuss a resolution to approve a contract that will provide Ouster LiDAR System and Ouster Blue City analytics to enhance pedestrian safety as well as improve traffic management throughout Davidson County.

If approved, the Metro Council would enter a $6 million contract with CDK Enterprises, LLC d/b/a Southern Lighting and Traffic Systems to provide the LiDAR system.

According to the Metro Council agenda analysis, the contract term would begin upon approval of all required parties and filing in the Metropolitan Clerk’s Office and extend for 60 months.
