Residents and visitors to the city of Brandon will notice a military presence over the next few days as potentially up to 200 Canadian Forces members participate in the training exercise, LIMBER GUNNER. Military vehicles and helicopters will be visible as troops move between CFB Shilo and the Riverbank Discovery Centre and other city parks.

It's important to note, no live ammunition from the helicopters, or the ground troops, will be used during this week's exercise in the City of Brandon.

The training operations are conducted by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) whereby 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron will be conducting flying operations with a CH-146 Griffon helicopter within city limits throughout the week.
